This qualification must be obtained by new LGV and PCV drivers alongside their vocational license. It consists of two parts: Part One – Case Studies, and Part Two – Vehicle Safety Demonstration.
After passing your Initial Driver CPC, it is mandatory to undertake the Periodic Driver CPC to update your qualification. This 35-hour re-training course must be completed within 5 years, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

To maintain your driver CPC licence, it is crucial not to repeat the same course within the 35 hours of periodic training over five years.
